last heard someone who said this - "prolific cashflow" - dont really know why some ppl are so keen on using words that they have learnt but in the wrong context.

This whole point of using jargons and the "oh so high end end words" - this idea is shallow and satisfies the ego of the person using it - more importantly, the audience just doesnt get the idea of the conversation.

so how do we tell people who do this to stop:

1) first - understand the people, they are wannabes - trying desperately to get attention turned on their side

2) Understand that these people are shallow - they want to ensure that the "hep" words are used, but people listening to them dont get the meaning

3) Tell the person with a raised eyebrow that word just doesnt fit there - its important that this is told to the person, it will save others from listening to this utter rubbish

Pranab to present budget without taxes

Constant haggling and continuos (overdose?) of media speculation seem to have had a major impact on Pranab, the Finance minister.

The minister has reportedly decided to present a budget without any taxes - a source who did not want his identity revealed to media persons here in Guduvancherry today. The source also added that there are other ways & means (??) through which the government would be able to do the following things (not necessarily in the order of importance):
1) Buck the global downturn - make india grow at over 7%
2) bring down the fiscal deficit - not withstanding the fact that econominc indicators point to a dismal picture
3) bring in more governmental accountability by introducing and implementing the FRBM Act
4) increase the government spending on infra projects so that there is a filip to the economy
5) control inflation so that the aam aadmi (who is he??) can live happily

Perplexed journos were reportedly angry and confused as to how the above was possible - the source declined to share further info on the subject.

see the MRTS station - do you get the feeling its a station for a metro, other than for the fact that there are railway lines leading upto a structure? (pls leave out OMR / madhya kailash)

if you muster the courage to get into the station, the first thing that you would want is to buy your ticket for the travel - however for this you must fervently search for the ticket counter - its not the first thing that you get to see inside

leave out the posh stations of london out of this comparison - but not planning the ticket counters needs to be awarded royally. Ithink that person was clairvoyant to think that the government will subsidise train travel and therefore only people who manage to "discover" the counter need to pay for their travel.

how to defocus on anything

first create a list for discussion points
call for a meeting with people
discuss on all items threadbare
make sure that all frivulous items get the attention of atleast 30 min for a discussion - at the end of the discussion for this item-say that this can be discussed offline - however, the democratic process should go on at all costs - therefore pls continue discussions
